The Woodland Trust

Feb 2011. The Woodland Trust. I joined the Woodland Trust, as I think this is a fantastic organization, trying to promote the need and importance of native trees, how to protect them and the requirements for increased planting. Woodlands and trees make up an intrinsic part of life, for people and wildlife. They stabilise the soil, generate oxygen, store carbon, are used for recreation and inspiration, provide wildlife habitats, raw materials and shelter. ‘A world without trees and woods would be barren and bare’, WT.
