This was a morning lecture at the Building Centre, chaired by Sir Terry Farrell and used to launch RIBA Urban Tree Knowledge Community and Trees & Design Action Groups new publication The Canopy. Sir Terry Farrell started by saying that because London has so many Boroughs, it is difficult to get one view. RIBA Communities are a network of professionals associated with all parts of construction, with a Knowledge Champion being appointed by the community experts and acts as a focal point, and Sir Terry Farrell was chosen to represent urban trees.
