October 2009. Ed Wall took us to see the Laban dance centre in Deptford, South London. The glass and illuminating coloured plastic panel building was designed by Herzog and de Meuron. Bayliss Landscape used Lindums’ Grassfelt form the grass mounds, which were designed by Vogt Landscape Architects. They look impressive enough, but like the building, things are starting to age quickly and the wear and tear is really showing.
