Liverpool Formby

March 2009. This is a National Trust area of land a little up the coast from Another Place. It incorporates sand dunes, a pine forest and has rare red squirrels living in the wild. At this time of year it is very quiet, but during warmer months it is very busy, due to its vast sandy beaches and walking trails. At low tide it is possible to see prehistoric footprints in the rocks.
