Africa Lecture by Dr Kenny Lynch

February 2009. Dr Kenny Lynch, University of Gloucester, was invited by Kingston University to present a talk on Africa and his investigation into issues of population and food supply. he started off with a real eye opener, by showing us a world population clock at the start of the talk. By the end the 1.5 hour talk, the number had risen by about 15,000!! Clock : www.sunsite.unc.edu. the next fact was that 15% of the worlds population is still under nourished. An obvious fact is that while food production is rising, the population is growing at a much faster rate.
