June. Along
with two other potential students I was shown around the Landscape Architecture
facilities at Greenwich Universities Avery Hill campus. Whilst the facilities
are a little dated (new and improved are already on the way), the commitment
and advanced preparation of the course Director Robert Holden was very evident.
This is a faculty that addresses real industry requirements, to produce very knowledgeable
and capable individuals. Students are taught from the soil up to understand,
land, design methods, construction and horticulture. Following the presentation
of my portfolio and discussions about the industry, Robert Holden offered me a
place on the MA course.
