May 2010. The grand old Dame that is the Chelsea Flower Show was soon upon us. As always, many of the gardens and displays are inspiring. Whilst they may only be up for a week, many of the plants have been specially grown just for that moment. My favourite garden was without doubt, Andy Sturgeons Corten steeled Telegraph garden, but as it one best in show, I might just be following the crowd. And crowds are what makes the Chelsea flower show. If you want a more relaxed, less crowded and informative show, try Hampton Court.
