October 2010. The Architecture department a Kingston is constantly inviting guest lecturers and the first of the season was by, Gort Scott, titled High Street, Design Guide for London. Design for London and the London Development Agency worked with Jay Gort and Fiona Scott to look at the roll the historic role high streets played in the formation of London, and how they changed from one end to the other. It was rather about their character and function, rather than the pure design.
