June 2010. MotoGP Silverstone. The first MotoGP to be held at Silverstone, following the incompetence of the management team at Donington to improve facilities. Still a building site, but things are in place to bring Silverstone back to form. I really feel that it is a missed opportunity to just let a load of tarmac experts and petrolheads masterplan such a venue. No though seems to have gone into the design of the topography, to improve spectators and race team’s experience. Shanghai, Abu Dhabi and the like, have used master planners to improve the whole experience
