Jan 2010. Part of the Detail study week. Sam is a landscape architect with Gustafson Porter and titled his lecture, Life as a Pedant. Someone who is overly concerned with precision. Sam discussed the senses people would engage when interacting with a space and the construction of the space. An important message was to always make sure things are waterproofed properly. They used ‘Steintec’ to bond the granite to concrete at the Diana Memorial to get a good seal.
