June 2009. This is a group of self appointed people who have an interest in protecting the open spaces of Wandsworth Common in SW London where I live. It was attended by a representative of Wandsworth Council, who on the contrary had an interest in not doing anything to improve the public space. This is a perfect example of how Landscape Architects should be involved to improve the publics’ space.
