November 2009. RIBA Lecture. Held in the impressive lecture theatre at the RIBA headquarters. We heard from David Nelson of Foster + Partners and Head of the Masdar project. Peter Clegg designer of Acordia in Cambridge, said the site started with a landscape and became a community and One Brighton for Crest Nicholson. They used green concrete at One Brighton, which was 50% recycled aggregate and 50% cement substitute. Pooran Desai, one of the BedZed founders and founder of Bioregional Quintain.
