Wey and Arun Canal trip

October 2008. All of the Landscape Architecture students went on a field trip to the Wey and Arun canal in West Sussex. This gave us an opportunity to explore the work of conservation groups on the restoration of the waterway and study some practical approaches to Landscape Architecture. This included measuring and detailing the size and scale of locks and bridges and mapping. It also provided a great opportunity to get to know fellow students from other years and all the lecturers.
