December 2010. My Wife and I were stranded at Heathrow in Costas Coffee for 10 hours, waiting to see if we would fly. You would have thought that when they built the new Heathrow Terminal they would have considered snow on the standing areas, so that flight could be shuffled around. Meanwhile Warsaw Airport, Poland was operating fully despite 1.5 meters of snow and -10c.
